Massive fire threatens power supply in Yosemite
A massive rapidly spreading fire in Mariposa County set off another round of clearings Tuesday as blazes debilitated electrical cables that nourish Yosemite National Park, authorities said.
Roughly 4,000 individuals have been constrained from their homes since the Detwiler fire, which is consuming east of Lake McClure, detonated to 25,000 sections of land, with several firefighters walking through soak landscape to achieve flares in congested vegetation, as per the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
By 8:30 p.m., the burst was just 5% contained and had pulverized eight structures, harmed one and was debilitating an extra 1,500.
